High School Youth Ministry at OLQH is focused on accomplishing three things:- Encounter teens where they are
- Enrich teens with solid theological Truth
- Extend practical challenges that help teens integrate their Faith in all areas of life
HOW CAN TEENS GET INVOLVED?
LifeTeen is Sunday evenings from 6:45 to 8:15 p.m. in the FLCC Activity Room. Students registered in the high school parish religious education program attend these nights which cover a specific topics. We incorporate a variety of games, speakers, prayer experiences, and small group activities to help our teens understand the material.
Bible Study is Wednesday evenings from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the OLQH Youth House. The evening begins with food and fellowship from 6:00 and transitions to a time of prayer and study. All high school students from across the Diocese are welcome to join us!
Other Events/Activities:
Throughout the year, we bring teens to various retreats and Diocesan youth ministry events such as the March for Life Pilgrimage to Washington D.C., the Diocesan Youth Conference, the Teen ACTS Retreat Experience, the Christian Leadership Institute, and the National Catholic Youth Conference. -
