Homebound ministry is a wonderful gift to the people of our community. Responsibilities include bringing Holy Communion to a homebound parishioner in their home, once a week...at your convenience and theirs. To serve in this ministry, the homebound minister must be eligible to receive the sacraments of the Church, participate in a 30-minute training orientation with Felicia Borel, and make the time to visit weekly with the homebound. The only ‘equipment’ needed is a pyx for transporting the Holy Eucharist (which can be purchased at Crossroads).
If you or someone you know is in need of a priest to visit a parishioner who is homebound, to pray with them or to celebrate the sacraments of Confession or Anointing of the Sick, please call the office at 477-1236.
If you have any questions, contact Bridget Kingery.
