The Gabriel Project

"Protecting the unborn... supporting the expectant mother..."

The Angel GABRIEL was sent as a Messenger of God. "Rejoice! Fear not!" were his words of encouragement and hope delivered to the Madonna in announcement of her unexpected pregnancy.

Pope Francis leads the Catholic Church by example and teaches us that we must reach out to those in need. With The Gabriel Project, the parishioners of Our Lady Queen of Heaven will be an outreach to any woman facing a crisis pregnancy. We commit to walk with her, holding her hand, offering love and compassion, and any support that she needs to help her. We say to the mother - "We love life and your baby, but more importantly, we love you."

Volunteers from our parish will serve as Gabriel Angels, and each mother is assigned an Angel to be with her each step of her journey. Other volunteers are needed to collect baby items, organize baby showers, pick up and deliver large baby items, and anything else that might come up. The Gabriel Project is completely funded and supported by donations from the people of our parish.
